Sandra Quinn - Administrator/Program Director
Sandra came to Thomas Allen, Inc. in 1984. She became a Program Director in 1989 and then an Administrator in 1995. Sandra currently directs the services provided by TAI’s Conservatorship/ Guardianship, and Scattered Site divisions. As Administrator she oversees all services provided under the leadership of TAI’s Program Directors, Training Director and Director of Human Resources. She has a BS in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker by the MN Board of Social Work.

Jim Valentini - Finance Director
Jim joined the Thomas Allen, Inc. Finance department in 1993. Prior to that he spent 10 years working as a cost/budget accountant in a hospital environment. He oversees all accounting functions including payroll, general ledger, billings, government reporting, the company’s 401K profit sharing plan, and also computer/network operations. There are a total of 6 staff in the Finance/I.S. department attending to all of the company’s financial and I.S. operations and needs. He has a B.A. degree in Business Administration/Accounting.

Katy Alger - Program Director
Katy came to work at Thomas Allen, Inc. in 1990 as a Behavior Analyst and Program Manager of a 4 bed ICF/MR. In 1994, Katy took on the position as Program Director overseeing services and quality assurance in several different programs which included services in supported living, semi-independent living, PCA, and the ICF/MR home. Katy has been involved in several new Supported Living Service developments within Thomas Allen. Katy holds a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy.

Diane Kubes - Program Director
Contributing to TAI’s mission since April 1985, Diane supported a 15 bed ICF/MR for 17 years. Since assuming her current position in June 1990, she has developed and/or directed varied divisions including Residential, Training, Nursing, and Community Employment. She presently works full time and directs residential services for seven divisions. She has worked and volunteered in the social service industry since 1978. She understands family members’ fears and concerns; she is a co-conservator for a sibling with a developmental disability. Diane is a member and past officer of her local Arc organization. She has a B.A. degree in Human Services Administration.

Kathi Lamminen - Program Director
Kathleen (Kathi) Lamminen started her career at Thomas Allen, Inc. in June 1995 as a weekend Program Counselor at Highland SLS, in Burnsville. Kathi held the position of Program Manager at this same site for 4 years and managed another program before becoming a Program Director in 2006. Kathi currently oversees 7 residential program sites including a Deaf program in Shoreview. Kathi is a member of TAI’s training team and teaches both Standard Orientation sessions as well as CPR and First Aid. Kathi has a B.A. in English/Literary Studies from the University of Minnesota and was enrolled in St. Paul College’s ASL Interpreter program.

Sandra Larson - Division Manager/Program Director
Sandra Larson joined Thomas Allen, Inc. in November 1992 as a Program Counselor at one of TAI's higher need Supportive Living Service homes. She has held her current position since February 1996 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 4 waivered sites, including hiring, training, and supervising. Sandra holds a B.A. in Psychology.

Stephanie Mox - Program Director
Stephanie began working with Thomas Allen, Inc. in August 2008, as the Program Manager of the Support Services and Subcontracting departments, leading services for individuals living with their families and also coordinating services with SLS Foster Care providers. She has 13 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, including residential, respite and vocational placement. Since April 2011 she provides direction to seven residential programs and continues to direct supportive services to individuals living with their families and SLS Foster Care Providers. Stephanie has a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota at Morris.

Kari Schuster - Program Director
Kari came to Thomas Allen, Inc. in 2006 as a Contracted Case Manager. Since then, Kari has held multiple positions within the same division. In 2011, Kari helped Case Management expand by adding Care Coordination services with health plans. As Program Director, Kari oversees Long Term Care Case Management with multiple counties as well as Care Coordination with a number of health plans. Her priority in case management and care coordination is to provide excellent client services, while meeting the best practice regulations of our contracted partners. Kari holds a Masters in Social Work from Augsburg College, and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker.

Lezlee Vrieze-Cole - Program Director
Lezlee began her career with Thomas Allen, Inc. in 1986 as a Program Manager of two 4 bed community based residential facilities. About a year later when a new division at TAI was formed, Lezlee joined the Contracted Case Management Division. Lezlee worked as a Contracted Case Manager for several large counties in southern Minnesota before stepping into the role of Program Manager. Now as Program Director, Lezlee supervises a staff of 20 case managers that provide case management services to approximately 1000 individuals with developmental disabilities and related conditions under contracts with 20 county social service agencies throughout the state of Minnesota. Lezlee has a B.S. degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker by the MN Board of Social Work.

Claudia Goebel - Human Resources Director
Claudia began employment with Thomas Allen Inc. in October 2007. She has 20+ years of human resource experience/knowledge. Main responsibilities include managing the Human Resource department and all processes and supervising HR staff. Claudia has a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
