Thomas Allen, Inc. has been a leader in providing services to persons with developmental disabilities and related conditions for over 30 years. Services are currently provided to over 850 individuals, from children as young as four years old to adults who are retired.
We are experienced in working with persons with the following conditions:
- Mild to Profound Mental Retardation
- Autism
- Asperger’s Disorder
- Down's Syndrome
- Non-Ambulatory, Requiring Wheelchair and Home & Vehicle Modifications
- Cerebral Palsy
- Fragile X
- Hearing Loss, Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Blind
- Tourette’s Syndrome
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
- Prader-Willi Syndrome
- Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Obsessive/Compulsive Disorders
- Seizure and Epileptic conditions
- Medical and Fragile Physical Conditions (i.e., osteoporosis, diabetes)
Each service is designed to meet the unique needs of the person served. Some clients' needs are met with 24-hour LPN or RN support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Clients who pose challenging behaviors are provided the individual support and supervision to address their daily living needs. Psychotropic Medication Monitoring is provided for individuals who are prescribed this type of medication. Individual skill development training is tailored to the individual needs of the person.
